About  Us

My name is Wendy McKenzie.  I am a breeder who strives to breed excellent dogs.  I started breeding dogs eighteen years ago.  I do not believe in in-breeding of my dogs and I do not line breed.  I spent many hours looking at the qualities in each of my dogs before I breed them to make sure that I will be producing a well-bred dog that will join the perfect family and live a happy, healthy life.

We also show our dogs and we have gained many champions that are strong good well bred quality stock.  We are members of the Better Business Bureau of Idaho and Washington.  Our dogs are raised in our kitchen with lots of family time and love.  We also strive to provide our puppies with the best future homes that they can have.  We want our puppies future families to know that owning one of our loving puppies is a lifetime commitment and that they love to be treated just as they are one of your family members.

Our pups are very social and ready and willing to meet anyone.  We breed for temperament and coat and body.

I am married with three wonderful children.  Our youngest daughter has Cerebral Palsy and loves animals.  She helps us with the birthing, grooming, and of course the playing with the puppies.  As you may be able to see, we are a family that works together in the raising of our dogs.
We have a beautiful log home on twelve acres that is located in the beautiful mountains of North Idaho.  Our dogs love to run through the meadows and go on boat rides with us.  Our dogs are very well rounded and are ready and willing to participate in any activity that arises.  We also have a home in the wonderful city of Palm Desert where we stay in the cooler months.  We feel very blessed that we are able to enjoy both lakes to swimming pools with our dogs.
We do not let our Havanese puppies go to their new homes until they are between 11 and 13 weeks old.

When you buy one of our Havanese or Coton de Tulear puppies they come with a three year health guarantee, they are up-to-date on shots and worming, their dewclaws have been removed and they are litter box or outside trained depending on the weather.  We put our puppies through many developmental stages to insure their transfer to the new home goes very well.
When you get one of our loving puppies we recommend to you what to feed it and how to care for it the best way possible.

We ask you to call us with any questions or concerns that you may have about your puppy.  We will provide all the help you need, day or night, we are here for you.  Your happiness is ours and the puppy's success!!  A well trained dog is a happy dog.

God Bless You
The Lipp Family
